ARRYA 2019 Registration

We are excited to announce that the registration for the Annual Regional Retreat for Young Adults (ARRYA) 2019 is now open. The YA retreat is open to YAs (ages 18-40) and SSE Group 4 students (age 16+). If you are a Group 4 student under the age of 16 and would like to attend, please contact the regional YA reps.

We are planning lots of fun activities, workshops, and a service project. A detailed agenda will be provided soon. In order to help you with finalizing travel arrangements, expect the retreat to convene on Saturday morning and finish by Sunday lunch time. Childcare will be available for young adults with children.

Guest Speaker: Brother Ajay Yekkirala

Ajay was fortunate to complete high school and B.Sc. in Biosciences at Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School and Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL), respectively. With Swami’s blessings, he was part of the SSSIHL Brass Band as a percussionist and guitarist and has performed several times in Swami’s Divine presence. He holds a PhD in Pharmacology from University of Minnesota and is a research fellow in Neurology at Harvard Medical School. Ajay is also co-founder and CSO of Blue Therapeutics, a startup focused on developing non-addictive painkillers. Swami blessed his father who served as a visiting professor at SSSIHL and his mother served in the IT department of Swami’s Whitefield super-speciality hospital. Ajay and his wife, Sonia, attend the Norwood Sai Center in MA. He is currently serving as the Region 1 Male YA Rep.
