With the divine grace and blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, we cordially invite you to the SSSIO USA Region 3 Virtual Retreat 2025.
The retreat will be held virtually during Memorial Day weekend, May 24th – 25th, 2025. The theme of the retreat is “Path to Sai”.
We will have inspirational talks by guest speakers, enlightening workshops for adults, young adults and SSE children.

In the days leading up to the retreat, we invite you to participate in a sadhana (spiritual practice) of reading a chapter of Swami’s divine words from Sri Sathya Sai Speaks, Volume 1 over Zoom every weeknight from Monday, Apr 7 to Friday, May 23, 2025 at 9 PM EST, for a duration up to 25 minutes maximum. This Region 3 Young Adult initiative is open to everyone. All are welcome to join using the zoom meeting id and passcode listed below.

We are blessed to have three guest speakers who will share their experiences and lessons learned at the divine lotus feet of Bhagawan Baba.
Dr. Suresh Govind

Dr. Suresh Govind is a professor and former Head of the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. He has written several chapters in publications by the World Health Organization and supervised more than 100 elective, diploma, graduate, and post-graduate students, including at the doctorate level. He is the recipient of many honorable awards, including the prestigious Malaysian Toray Science Award. Dr. Suresh Govind has been serving in the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) for more than three decades in various positions, including the National Council President of Malaysia. Dr. Suresh Govind serves as a member of Prasanthi Council, Chairman of the Sri Sathya Sai Scriptural Studies Committee of the SSSIO, and leads the SAI 100 program, which has picked up momentum in several countries.
Brother Aravind Balasubramanya

Brother Aravind Balasubramanya comes from a family that has been devoted to Swami from early 1960s. He completed his Bachelor of Science from the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, receiving a gold medal. He also holds an M.S. (Chemistry) and an MBA from the SSSIHL. He worked for Radio Sai from 2007 to 2021. Aravind has authored five books on Swami. He was Swami’s photographer for nearly five years. Aravind has dedicated his life to serving Swami and sharing His teachings through various media channels. He is presently part of the SSSIO Digital Media team and mentors the Young Adults.
Sister Vahinie Pillay

Sister Vahinie Pillay is a 4th generation devotee of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. She is the International Young Adults Coordinator of the SSSIO and oversees Young Adult activities in more than 120 counties around the world. She is a singer and songwriter and has composed many value based songs. Professionally, she is a senior audit consultant for a leading international consulting firm.

There will be several opportunities to help with registration, set up, serving meals etc. throughout the weekend. We also have 2 service projects planned for Sunday afternoon. In addition, as part of the Sai 100 initiative, we will be planting trees at the retreat site on Monday morning.
